This simulator, developed by Wojskowe Zakłady Mechaniczne S.A. in Siemianowice Śląske in cooperation with Trinity Interactive LLC, is the first product of the family of didactic
and training devices designed for the training of 8x8 Armored Modular Vehicle Rosomak drivers. It allows the following activities:
conducting driver training,
maintenance and service,
vehicle breakdown simulation.
This simulator guarantees high quality individual training and cost reduction in comparison with the analogous training with real vehicles.
Features of ROSICZKA TK-1 Simulator:
Accurate reconstruction of the driver’s section together with the representation of how the KTO 8x8 ROSOMAK works.
Use of original vehicle systems, as well as the components that represent the equipment of the driver section integrated with the computer software:
• driver console,
• steering column together with the gear lever, accelerator, and brake pedal,
• steering console with the Central Wheel Pumping
System,
• CZS-2CS intercom FONET system console,
• driver periscope,
• rearview mobile camera console,
• adjustable driver seat together with its equipment,

Replication of the mechanics of movement of the vehicle, which allows driving in the chosen terrain conditions (overcoming terrain obstacles, boggy fields, hard-surfaced roads, through water),
3D animation, which represents the following landscape and weather conditions:
• terrain shaping,
• vegetal cover,
• forestation,
• water basins,
• changeable weather conditions,
• day/night and time of the year,
Configuration of all task parameters from the instructor seat (also dynamic, real-time):
• Trainee monitoring via a video link,
• Copy of driver instruments,
• preview of the tactical situation on a digital map,
Mobility (easy transportation of the simulator).
The simulator is used in the training program conducted by Wojskowe Zakłady Mechaniczne in Siemianowice Śląskie.
