Equipment which was repaired, modernized at the Tank Repair Department can be stated as follows:
- T-34-85 tank modernization along with its adaptation to overcome water obstacles T34-85M20.
- Armored cannon U-85 production, as well as technical emergency vehicle WPT-34 and T-34 tank.
- T-54 i T-55 repairs and modernization up to T-55U i T-55M versions.
- Equipment standardization in scope of T-55A.
- T-55UM, T-55MR, T-55A, T-55AD tanks overhaul and modernization.
- T-55A tank overhaul and modernization to T-55AM and D-84 version.
In 1982 full scale modernization plan in scope of 16 subject issues was worked out in consideration of planned Armed Forces requirements for years 1983-86 and 1986-90.
In 1983 following objects were built:
- Hotel, with apartments for workers and health centre.
- Steel warehouse.
- Special equipment works
- Main warehouse.
Concurrently Turing 1982-1989 WZM was performing foreign contract in scope of T-55 Tanks Repair Base in India.
In scope of following WZM performer:
- Overhaul technical documentation,
- Equipement and measure stands construction al documentation,
- Indian specialist trainings t WZM facility,
- Trainings and technology implementation AT Base in India,
- Parts and assemblies delivery in scope of repairs.
Afer 1990 when T-55 tanks modernization was finished Production subject was changed.
