According to Polish government and Polish Ministry of Defense decision no. 0151/Org dated on 14.06.1945 "FERRUM" Industrial Works were transferred under Dowództwu Wojsk Pancernych i Zmotoryzowanych Wojska Polskiego and following Tanks Repair Works were established.
The organizational base of Tanks Repair Works were human resources, facilities and cranes of Industrial Works.
Works main activity subject were repairs of vehicles such as ZIS 5, Gaz AA, Gaz-67, Sztudebaker, Ford Kanada, Dogge 3/4 Willis, motorcycles and some of light tanks’ engines.
And the early 50ties company started to perform repairs of light armored wheeled vehicles such as: BA-64, SU-76 as well as conception of Stationary Repair Works of Armored Equipment were implemented.
Along with extension of repaired equipment name of factory changed once again, and in accordance with Ministry of Defense decision no. 52/MON dated on 22.05.1952 was named as Wojskowe Zakłady Naprawy Sprzętu Pancernego (Armoured Equipement Repair Military Works).
